Sauble Beach Things To Do

On the shores of Lake Huron, Sauble Beach is one of the best summer getaways in all of Ontario. With a sandy beach stretching over 10 kilometres long, Sauble Beach has no shortage of room for fun in the sun seekers. Before the sun goes down we recommend exploring Sauble Beach’s stores and places to eat. There are are range of options from having simple fries and or an ice-cream cone to a great meal on a patio with a nice cool beverage.

Voted the #1 beach in Ontario, it is one of the crown jewels of Bruce County. Photographers from near and far gather to catch the gorgeous sunsets over this large stretch of golden sand.

If you’re looking to explore the surrounding area through the day we recommend a 5 min drive over to Sauble Falls Provincial Park, located at the north end of town. It is a great spot for a family picnic next to waterfalls. If you’re planning to visit the area in the spring, the falls have Rainbow Trout and Chinook Salmon jumping to spawn upstream.  Wildlife viewing in the Park has also become a popular activity amongst visitors and locals alike—white-tailed deer, red squirrels, fox, wild turkeys, black bears, and many kinds of beautiful birds!

Exploring the Sauble Beach area is fun for all!
